Faculty Entertains Choir At Farewell Party Sunday; Speeches, Songs on Program

To bid bon voyage the faculty members entertained the St. Olaf choir at a lawn party held at the P. G. Schmidt home last Sunday afternoon.

President Boe presented the good wishes for the college as well as his parting words of advice; and Dr. F. Melius Christiansen and P. G. Schmidt gave the farewell in behalf of the choir. In addition, two choir members spoke. They were Arthur Hellbaum and Gladys Lohre.

The arrangements for the party were in the charge of Miss Gertrude Hilleboe and Miss Esther Gulbrandson.

One feature of the afternoon was the singing of the Norwegian and American national songs by the choir.
