Chapel Speaker Praises Composer of Negro Songs

The Reverend M. A. Christenson, of Portland, Oregon, speaking in chapel Tuesday of last week, paid a brief tribute to Stephen C. Foster, composer of American folk songs and negro spirituals. Following his address, the College quartet sang "My Old Kentucky Home," one of Foster's most popular compositions. This was the quartet's second appearance before the faculty and student body this year.

Dr. C. A. Mellby will be speaker at a mission festival to be held in Glenwood, Wisconsin, November 8.
